Mount Canto is the first mountain that you come to when coming up from the Po Valley. It’s largely covered by forests made up predominantly of chestnut trees, especially on the northern side, while on the south there is also some farmland and some vineyards.
It’s ideal for walks and easy Mountain Bike rides, with many marked trails, very popular among the locals, starting from the towns that surround it.
For this route, we recommended, for going around the mountain, using four paths (894, 891, 895, 893) and two connecting paths.
