The building is located on the right bank of the river Brembo, Brembate.
The original building probably dates back to the early fifteenth century. The architectural layout is that of a horseshoe, typical of villas of the time.
Today it is owned by the Gritti Morlacchi family and has terraced gardens leading down to the river, where you can admire the “filaröla” dam, built between 1888-90, and the Treviglio irrigation ditches that date back to the early fourteenth century and which serve to irrigate the land of lower Bergamo.
