“Oboedientia et Pax” CRYPT

You cannot enter this place without feeling the force of holiness.
The crypt is in fact the most intimate and warm space of the whole sanctuary.
The single casts of hand and face of John XXIII, executed after his death by the great Bergamo sculptor Giacomo Manzù, would be enough to make it a special place. To enrich the crypt, there is the crucifix of the Good Pope placed in front of the shrine, a reminder of what he wanted always in front of his bed.

This agritourism is 400 meters high, in the middle of a forest made up of chestnut trees, locust trees, oak trees and offers a unique view of the Adda river, characterized by steep and wooded banks, the characteristic bridge of Paderno and interesting examples of industrial archeology; the cycle path along its banks leads to Trezzo in Lecco.
The family-owned company raises sheep, pigs and poultry; among its products there are sausages, strawberries and chestnuts.

A well-organized building complex with various structures built in 1600 which has returned to its former glory thanks to the restoration that has enhanced its ancient history.

The restaurant of Casa Clelia is closed on Monday, for both lunch and dinner. It is also closed for lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. For a business lunch or groups, by reservation, you can make openings in the closing rounds of the restaurant weekly.

 

Casa Clelia is nestled in the woods at the foot of Mount Canto in the town of Sotto il Monte.

Casa Clelia keeps the every guests psychological and physical well-being at heart, and for this reason, when the buildings were renovated, we decided to follow principles of ecological architecture. Healthy environments in harmony with the restoration of the original appearance of the convent and use of eco-friendly materials.

Just beyond the reception is the Sala Legnaia, “wood room”, ideal for banquets and receptions.

The Sala Camino, “fireplace room” and the loft, more intimate and secluded, allow for the necessary privacy for romantic dinners or business lunches.

A large pergola provides the opportunity to enjoy a dinner “alfresco” (in the fresh air) during the summer, hearing only the sounds of nature.
