Among the houses of the villageit stands the Renaissance church, copy of Santa Maria della Piazza of Busto Arsizio, birthplace of Crespi.
Cristoforo Crespi, a fervent Catholic, wants to offer to the villagers, who come to live there from different places, a common history, a collective identity.
He believes that he can build it even through religious rites, the enunciation of masses and of the liturgical calendar.
Built between 1891 and 1893, under the direction of engineer Pietro Brunati, the church has walls painted with refinement and contains paintings of great value.
The dome is noteworthy, from which leak shining stars on a night sky.
