This beautiful building, dating from the second half of the nineteenth century, was the home of Vittore Tasca, an illustrious character of the time, famous partisan and friend of the painter Giovanni Carnovali, called “The Piccio”, and Alexandre Dumas.
From an architectural standpoint, the complex is divided into three areas. Of particular interest is the romantic park, planted with priceless century-old trees, with beautiful cedars and magnolias, an is an excellent example of nineteenth century garden architecture and was described by D’Annunzio.
